Idle Time
Computers in our training room with Steadystate loaded our turning off automatically. The pop up screen warning of shutdown is hidden behind, for example a Word document, and therefore can not be seen by user. All work is then lost. This happens on a regular basis on a number of computers Is there a solution? any advice would be gratefully received.

Hi Les, please check if you have set the Session Timers for user. You can login with administrator, open Windows SteadyState-----User Settings-----General-----Session Timer. But it will not shutdown the computer. It only provides log off or restart computer function. And can you tell me what is the pop up screen warning message? Anymore, you can check if Windows Update is on at Control Panel. Please turn it off. There is a possible that Windows download the update package and install it automatically, but the update package need reboot PC to finish the installation. And if the Windows Disk Protection is on in Windows SteadyState, Windows will lose the update package again and download it again, reboot again.
