Hi, 2 simple things, 1) Make sure you have given correct path /_layouts/images/imagename 2) Make sure that image exisit in C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\web server extensions\12\TEMPLATE\IMAGES folder.if you are using IE8 change compatabilty mode ON.
