Hello, its me again and its a new question, this question for SharePoint search lovers, so let's get started.

in a while, I used to get an error in search index, which is "Sorry, something went wrong" >> I hate this error, of course with a correlation ID, anyway, I used to fix this issue by clearing the config XML files and reset the index and its working fine after that for a while, and then I get the same error again and again and again, and keep fixing it as the same way, so my question is how can I solve this error permanently I don't want to see it again, waiting your solutions and thoughts, please don't hesitate to drop a solution here if you think it's going to help.

What do the errors identified by the correlation ID say? Your fix of re-setting the index and config files obviously works but you may have a root cause that you can fix.

Alternately you could script the re-set and xml clean up.

HI Omar,The error that you post"sorry something wrong" is a generic error for most of the issues.Please check the ULS,Event logs and find the exact details of the error with correlation ID for further trouble shoot.I would recommend you to please check the error details by correlation ID.find the link below that shows how to get the details of error by correlation ID.
