I have created sharepoint designer workflow in sharepoint list for sending email notifications to particular email id(like abc@gmail.com) when an item created in the sharepoint list, now when user created item in the list mail will not goto that mail id.

i have checked outbond email settings in central administration also and checked workflow history in designer also, but workflow history is empty.

any one suggest where is the mistake.

I believe workflow only sends email registered in Active Directory and added in user profile. I have tried before to send email to external users did not work. You can try by adding the XYZ@gmail.com to user profile.
