I have a problem when I want define RMS Server in Central Administration

I setup a test environment and install windows server 2008 R2,SQL server 2008 R2,Active directory and sharepoint server 2010. Then for setup Document Management ,I add "active  directory rights management services"  server role in that server(all of them installed in one server). Now when I define RMS Server for sharepoint I face with this error:

also when i select "use the default RMS server specified in Active Directory" radio button, this error appears.

When I search in the internet, there are some sites that said I should go to

C:\Inetpub\wwwroot_wmcs\Certification Right-click the ServerCertification.asmx file and change the permission of this file. But I don't have wwwroot_wmcs folder in Inetpub.

What's the problem?!

Hi,

Just so we are on the same page, the correct folder location is C:\inetpub\wwwroot\_wmcs. However, I have never attempted to install all of the roles on one server...

Cheers,

Hi,

Please navigate to C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\_wmcs\Certification and configure SharePoint Server role permissions.

The steps for configuring SharePoint Server role permissions for your reference:

By the way, there will not existing the _wmcs folder once you havent install Active Directory Rights Management services successfully. If that is the case, you need to remove the service and re-install the service.

Steps about how to install Active Directory Rights Management services for your reference:
