I am looking migration from sms 2003 sp2 with SQL 2000 SP4 to sccm 2007

I am looking migration from sms 2003 sp2 with SQL 2000 SP4 to sccm 2007 scenario is SMS 2003 server SP2 (SQL 2000 SP4 ) central server consists of 100 primary sites and 400 secondary secondary sites. so I am looking types of migration again site by site migration means existing sms 2003 sp2 will be alive? attaching sms 2003 sp2 into sccm 2007? so package distribution, policies, software updates, reporting, hardware inventory, software inventory, osd will work in sms 2003 sp2? attaching sms 2003 sp2 into sccm 2007 what is advantage and what is limitation? after attaching central sms 2003 sp2 server then how to attch 100 primary and what about 400 secondary sites?

Good Morning SCCM Ghost,

First off this doesn't make any sense, if you have 100 Primary sites and 400 secondary sites, for multiple reasons.

The whole environment needs  to be re-build from the ground up. Since this is the case there is zero point in moving forward with CM07 as it end of life is just around the comer, you need to move to CM12 maybe even to CM16.

Since you need to move to CM12 / CM16 you need to analyze your environment, this will result in a huge saving of servers and therefore reduce the cost to manage the environment.
