Hi ,I had reinstalled my test server and installed fresh ILM server , but while i create any MA i get an error in eventviwer "The server encountered an unexpected error creating performance counters for management agent "AD MA".Performance counters will not be available for this management agent." Same happens for amy MA i create. What are these performance counters and where i missed while installing of Server. i could not find any reference for these performance counter in ILM.Please assist.thanks in advance.Mohit Goyal

Hi Mohit, the performance counters are the providers of the information that you can display using perfmon. See this msdn page if you want more serious information. I got the same error in my installation (I get one performance counter error for every agent whenever the service starts), I don't know if it's an issue with RC0 in general or if we both did something wrong, in any case don't worry too much, because even if you get that error your installation will work normally for the rest. This is a known issue in RC0 where perf counters are not available, and will be corrected in the next public release candidate due to ship H2 of calendar 2009.AhmadAW
