We have a couple of frequent sharepoint users in our organization who are experiencing problems with IE 8. When they are on a form page (such as editform.aspx) and enter form data the browser will become non responsive and they finally have to use Task Manager to shut the browser done. We read that disabling crash recovery in the browsers options would work and it did -- for a while. I'm hoping someone has some information on this issue. There are no mistakes; every result tells you something of value about what you're are trying to accomplish.

I don't think that is our issue. The "Saving Content..." only happens when editing a publishing page (that I am aware of) and this hanging behavior is happening on EditForm.aspx of a list item. Also, I have 'Enable native XMLHTTP support' checked and it never happens to me.There are no mistakes; every result tells you something of value about what you're are trying to accomplish.
