IE9 Caching

Hi,

May I know if the IE Cache is domain-name based?

What if i change the ip of domain name (http://abc.com) from 192.168.0.1 to 192.168.0.2. Is the cache override?

and it is now cached with http://abc.com/ without time-expiry or max-age information,

May i know when is cache expire, instead of clear cache?

Thanks alot.

Hi,

As far as I know, IE Cache won't be override by changing the IP of domain name.

To manage IE cache, you can follow the Group Policy path below:

User Configuration/Policies/Admin Templates/Windows Components/Internet Explorer/Internet Control Panel/General/Browsing History

Free Windows Admin Tool Kit Click here and download it now
