Hi everyone,

I'm looking for patch management solutions and is currently checking on lumension, solarwinds and symantec. But since SCCM is already in the ecosystem of Microsoft I'm thinking of maybe this is the better choice.

But I have a requirements:

1. It should be able to deploy windows patch and 3rd party software patch

2. It can be done even if the computers are only using WORKGROUP

3. The SCCM Server will also be in WORK GROUP.

I'm looking at SCCM 2012r2. That's pretty much all, I hope anyone can shed some light here.

1. Yes, it able to deploy any application .exe or .msi.
2. Yes, you can manage work Group machine.
3. No, SCCM Server must join domain and extend on Schema.
