How would I migrate AD groups to SharePoint Groups in SP2007? Is this possible to be done for a Site Collection administrator? If not, how would a person have the approiate permissions?

You don't really migrate AD groups to sharepoint. Create SharePoint groups and map the AD group to the SharePoint group and provide permissions to the SharePoint group there on.Aravind http://aravindrises.blogspot.com
