No, not for Project. This would be possible with some of the Office programs (Word, Excel) using the HTML viewer but Project does not have this functionality.Shannon Bray - MCT, MCPD, MCTS, MCITP

Would having your users install a free MS Project viewer be viable? There are a few out there...I did this on one of my sites and placed a gratuitous "download viewer here" link on the page where they could download the viewer.

Thanks Shannon, Bob.Bob, yours seems to be a workable idea. Could you please suggest a good/free MS Project viewer? TIA.

Here's one:http://www.afinion.de/project-viewer/50/en/index.phpIt may or may not meet your needs, I'd Google around for others, however, be aware that some of the free viewers are stipulated non-commercial use only. This particular one doesn't have that stipulation (at least it didn't a couple years ago :-)).HTH,Bob

You can use an Add In we produce that shares the MS Project tasks to a SharePoint Task List (or Project Tasks List). Thismeans your team can view the tasks(and assignments) right in SharePoint without MS Project installed on everyone's computer. Team members just need a web browser. The benefit of this approach is team members can update their tasks via the browser, viewother team member updatesand, best of all, synchronizeall updatesback into the mpp file on the PM's client.http://www.teamdirection.com/mspaddinThere are more advanced use cases it supports as well but it's very simple right out of the box and will solve your requirement.

I do sugest you take a look at the Housatonic's Microsoft Project Viewer Server 2010 at
www.projectviewercentral.com. It does have a free web part for sharepoint integration to view mpp files from a document library.
Yoy can take a look at their Microsoft Project Viewer free online demo at
http://www.projectviewercentral.com/projectviewer/projectviewerfree.html
