How to use variables in an Xpath Filter in FIM
Hi, Does anybody how can we pass a variable in xpath filter in FIM? Actually we have a scenario where whenever a manager logins to the portal, He should have a searchscope called reportees which will display him all the reportees under him. But to define that Searchscope I need to get the current user's details which we couldnot do? We tried using //target/displayName and Request/displayName but that also didnt work. Please can anyone help on this?

You'll find the full set of variable names here ... http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ee534918(WS.10).aspx ... under Environment variables ... then look for an example by searching this page on the keyword "variable".Bob Bradley, www.unifysolutions.net (FIMBob?)
