  Trying to upload excel in server where excel is not installed. BIDs was there in the server, when i am trying to craete Excel source I am not able.

what the workround for this.. How to upload excel without excel installed on the server.pls guide me.

Please clarify:

First you talk about "upload excel in server". Do you mean that you want to import data from Excel to SQL Server?

Secondly you are talking about "i am trying to create Excel source" which is not clear to me what you mean. Do you want to create the Excel or use Excel file?

You need to have excel provider installed in the server if you want to use BIDs in server to upload excel data.
