How to test ATA2016 in Hyper-V

Hi,

We are very interested in evaluating ATA2016 - and have a question about setup.

We have a few Hyper-V Guests as follows:

  • Windows 2012 R2 Domain Controller
  • Windows 2012 R2 ATA 2016 server
  • a few workstations that we will test a few 'hacks' from

Where in this configuration do we need to setup Port Mirroring? Is it in the Guest Domain Controller VM?

Thanks,

SK

Hi Shim,

Are the above VMs connected to the same Hyper-V Switch?

If so, Right click the Guest DC in Hyper-V Manager, go to Settings>Expand the Network Adapter and choose Advanced Features> Under Port Mirroring set the Mirroring Mode as "SOURCE"

Repeat the above on the ATA Server, except choose "Destination" for the Mirroring Mode

Thanks,

       Microsoft ATA Team.
