Hi, It is found that a discussion board item will generate a new reply automatically every 3 hours since this morning, which makes the discussion loop very long. I checked my outlook setting and found no special setting related with this problem except the "connect to outlook" on sharepoint. Could you please help me to stop creating new items for this discussion chain? Thanks. bnarasimharao

Hi NarasimhaRaoB, I think this is no business of Outlook. Have you ever set some reply by a custom time job. So please check the reply author, and find how to add item in discussion board list .You said the new reply automatically every 3 hours, So, this is behavior is like time job. Youd better sure there is no other people do some custom time job on your discussion board list. Thanks, Jack

Hi, The scenario you have mentioned is not OOB. It seem some kind of timer job is referring this discussion board and it is adding the responses every three hours in this. Check for it. I hope this will help you out.Thanks, Rahul Rashu
