How to specifiy my x & y axis data for a horizonal bar chart?
Hi all, I want the following: A horizontal bar chart, displaying summary data coming from a stored procedure. This should be office name going vertically, and % completed horizontally. Both of these bits of information are returned from the proc. The report is being developed in ssrs2008r2 BIDS. I've done the following: 1) Added the dataset to the ssrs report for the proc, which returns OfficeName and PercentComplete as columns (10 rows at the moment). The the BIDS Report side-window shows the columns returned by the proc. 2) Added a horizontal bar chart to the report. 3) Right-clicked the chart, selected properties, and set the dataset to what I added in 1) I'm at a loss at this point. Hanging off the side of the chart in design mode is a little widget for Chart Data properties, all of which is grayed out. There are no options provided for sum-values, category groups, or series groups. Basically I'm just not seeing where in the UI i'm supposed to tell the chart that I want to see OfficeName vertically, and PercentComplete horizontally. Little help? Thanks for pointing me in the right direction, sff
