How to share Outlook 2013 folders between On Premise and On Cloud users?

Hi,

One of my managers requested me to set up a folders from one of our users in the marketing department to be shared with user in our accounts department. I shared the folder via properties > Permission > Add. However, I was prompted "Non-Local users cannot be given rights to access to his server"

The user of from Marketing dept, of whom requires her folder to be shared, is On Cloud. The users from Acounts is On Premise.

Please advise.

Thank you.

Hi,

Based on my research, the Office 365 and Exchange Online/on-premise does not support cross-premises permission scenarios.

Since this forum focus more on Office client side questions, I'd recommend you post a new question in the following forum for further assistance:

The reason why we recommend posting appropriately is you will get the most qualified pool of respondents, and other partners who read the forums regularly can either share their knowledge or learn from your interaction with us. Thank you for your understanding.
