In SCCM 2007 R2, does anyone know how to run a Site Maintenance Task manually, outside the set schedule (without changing the schedule each time).

My understanding is every task has there associate store procedure, below are the 2 examples...however i'm also still curious what is the use of it to run manually? is configured task are failing Delete Inactive Discovery Data --> sp_GetInactiveClients Delete Obsolete Discovery Data --> sp_GetObsoleteClients For both the above store procedures you need to give days as an input, however these store procedure only get the list of inactive clients and obsolete clients, it wont delete the clients, i'm not sure how internally delete taks happens Note :- Before running store procedure please check with PSS/CSS whether your ConfigMgr Infrastucture will be supportive or not ...just for knowledge you can run it on test environment Abhishek Joshi | Blog :- www.MicrosoftTechEd.com Personal site : www.AbhishekJoshi.com
