How to remove completed-transient-objects
Hi, Have a few Transient Objects coming in from the Notes MA, I can find the object by queries the database, but am not sure why they are transient and how I can remove them?

Have you tried a Full Sync on the Lotus MA?/Matthias

I see the same problem with lots of my customers; unfortunately this is a "feature" of Lotus Notes replication as I understand it. The transient objects appear when the same object is modifed on two different Lotus Notes servers; then the built-in replication
does not have the logic (like AD) to make a decision on which object survives and it will create duplicates. And, you'll need a Lotus Notes administrator to fix the problem.
So, in short, you'll have to live with this, only Lotus Notes replication is redesigned.

Thanks, I've tried a Full Sync with no change.
I've also queried the database, and got the object names, then looked at Notes, however the objects in Notes do not have any replication issues or duplicate objects. I'll try and create a view that'll search by the Notes UNID.

I've queried in Notes using @Text(@DocumentUniqueID) to show the UNID. Then compared with the UNID in FIM, but it does not look like the objects exist any more in Notes.

Do a Full Import and Full Sync to remove any excess objects.

I'm sorry, but again if there are stille transient objects, these can only come from one place - the connected directory; this is a known issue with Lotus Notes. I'd continue to look for duplicates in Lotus Notes, if it was me :-)Regards, Soren Granfeldt
