Hi there, we use WebDAV to map drives to SharePoint 2013 document libraries to make it easier for staff to save and attach documents etc.

I'm not sure if this is what casuses it or if its something related to how SharePoint works, but it seems to store a history of shortcuts to files when viewed in my computer.

e.g in my computer if our sharepoint URL was https://intranet.sharepoint.com and the document was called 'Enquiries' we would see a link in my computer of type file/folder Enquiries on intranet.sharepoint.com

Is there a way of setting it so that these shortcuts/placeholders are never created or at the very least hidden?
