I am simply trying to create a query of systems that have a specific piece of software installed.  All the resources that I have been reading are dealing with SCCM and not SCE 2010.  The databases that they are referring to in the query are not the same as the databases that I have in my SQL environment.  Can somebody please point me in the right direction?  

Try to get a trace when you view the inventory by the following method, then you may find out which table stores the inventory information.
