How to populate users information on the desktop?
Hi, We have the requirement to display specific users properties on the users desktop. Login Name, System Name, Domain Name, Department, Office Location, etc... I found a tool BgInfo v4.16 but it doesn't do what we need. We are using SCCM2007 R3 is there an option in it for this? Please suggest... Thanks Eswar, But as i mention this tool doesn't give you the option for displaying Designation, Department, Manager, etc... Please suggest if there is an alternate and also if this can be deployed to all the machine through GPO. You could use ConfigMgr to deploy your solution, once you have developed it. Don

the values which you are looking for like designation, department, manager etc is provided by Active Directory ,they are not from computer WMI repository. You can get the custom values either from Registry,WMI etc from BGINFO.exe add custom fileds. did you try it ? Please click on "vote as Helpful" if you feel this post helpful to you.
