Hi Bhakti, If you want to move only single subsite then you should use Import / Export feature. But if you are goons take back up of site collection / Farm / Web App then you can use Backup / Restore feature. Here is link of Import /Export. http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc262465%28office.12%29.aspx Hope it is helpful. Let us know if it does not workCheers, Hemendra-MCTS "Yesterday is just a memory,Tomorrow we may never see"

Hi, Just creation of web application is not enough, you need to create the same managed path also. Then only the contents of your site will be displayed. However I suggest you to use STSADM import export fopr the same. Here are the steps you can follow for this: 1. Take STSADM export of the source site. 2. Create an empty site collection using STSADM createsite command in destination server http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc262594(office.12).aspx 3. Then import the content using STSADM import command. I hope this will help you out. Thanks, Rahul Rashu
