How to make Y axis rigid in SSRS reports
Hi, I have y-axis as values from 1 to 10000 and x axis has productnames, i am using line chart for graph in SSRS reports, what's the problem is when x-axis increases( no of products increases) y-axis height decreases , i want to make y axis as rigid. If question is not clear pls ask. Please help! sabburudra

Hi sabburudra, Generally, in design surface, the X-axis and the Y-axis of a Line Chart can be adjusted. After finished adjustment, the Width of the X-axis and the Height of the Y-axis will not be changed in preview mode. Do you mean the range of Y-axis is changed when no of products increases? By default, both the Minimum and the Maximum of the Y-axis are Auto. In order to change the Y-axis value range, please refer to the steps below: 1. On the vertical axis, right-click Y-axis and select the Axis Properties. 2. In the Vertical Axis Properties dialog box, click Axis Options. 3. In the Minimum and Maximum text box, set the value you want. We can also add an expression, which can dynamically get values from your dataset. Hope this helps. Best Regards, Bin Long
