I have another thread on how to get value from a list column in another site collection.  I got that data source through REST service connection and was able to insert it in a Data View Web Part.

But my goal is to lookup the values in that column in a list of a different site collection:

column B of list B in site collection B need to lookup values in Column A of list A in site collection A.

How can I achieve that?

I recommend to use Jquery to create the drop-down and get data from another site collection.
