Hi Nabx, Thanks to share your post! From your description of the problem, I understand you want to import Active directory users to SharePoint sites. So you need to use User Profiles. User profiles identify connections among users, such as common managers, workgroups, group membership, and sites. User profiles and user profile properties can also be used in implementing personalization features, such as building My Sites and content targeting. User profiles are more than just groupings of imported and custom properties about users in your organization. The properties are also used in the public page of My Site to display information about the relationships of each user to other users and content in your organization. You can try as the following steps: 1. Go to User Profiles and Properties under Shared Services Administration and click on configure profile import link; 2. Select current domain as the profile data source and make sure default access account is specified and valid; 3. Run full import or incremental import; 4. After importing, you can find that User Profiles and properties of AD users are not in sync. Use the stsadm –o sync –synctiming <schedule> and stsadm –o sync –sweeptiming <schedule> to force the properties sync.
