Hi, It is not supported to install SCCM in a cluster, but as you say placing the DB in a cluster will work fine. This guide is still valid, http://blogs.msdn.com/b/lxchen/archive/2007/11/18/how-to-install-sccm-2007-with-a-clustered-sql-server.aspx Regards, Jörgen-- visit my System center blog at http://ccmexec.com --

Hi, To install ConfigMgr with a clustered DB : 1. Install Windows 2008 cluster then install SQL 2008 Cluster http://itprosecure.com/blogs/windows_2008_admnistration/archive/2009/08/03/windows-2008-failover-clustering-configuring-sql-2008-for-failover-clustering-part-1-of-3.aspx and also look step 3 here http://support.microsoft.com/kb/319723 2# Make sure that the follwing requirements in the link is ok http://blogs.msdn.com/b/lxchen/archive/2007/11/18/how-to-install-sccm-2007-with-a-clustered-sql-server.aspx , then install ConfigMgr requirements http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc431377.aspx and start your installation. Agree with Jorgen, ConfigMgr should be installed on a different server. Bechir Gharbi | http://myitforum.com/cs2/blogs/bgharbi/
