My problem is that my Windows XP3 gets schedule updates 10am everyday and now it came up saying that Active X needs to be installed if I trust the MicroSoft site. The Active X would not let me update even when I clicked the (X) to allow it to Run. Why is it necessary to have Active X and can it be DownLoaded from MicroSoft Windows site for downloads? What is the reason for Active X being used in connection with Windows XP3? Please help. nogeekatall.
