Hi,

There are several blog posts out there on how to integrate VNC so it should be possible. DaRT is a great alternativ, remember though that it requires MDOP licens.

I just went thru http://blogs.technet.com/b/mniehaus/archive/2011/11/28/mdt-2012-new-feature-dart-integration.aspx and no doubt Dart is good option but i doubt abt the licence part.

Jorgen could you please suggest blog which can be referred for integrating vnc with win pe.

Gaurav

Hi Trosten, I work like magic thanks.

Just wanted to check one more thing in usb solution of OSD on baremetal machines. Can we find out the ipaddress of the machines after WinPE restart.

I have tried this with SCCM 2012 R2. It works fine if the machine already has a formatted partition, but if it doesn't the Task Sequence does not download and copy the content of the VNC package then the task sequence stops because the commandline step cannot be run. Even if you tick  Continue on Error.

I started investigating options for running the package from the Distribution Point, but in SCCM 2012 R2 I dont have the option to run content from the DP when needed. I then came across an article saying I could use %_SMSTSPACAKGEID% to gain the UNC location on the local DP of the content. This doesn't work either, the TS Env Vars contain information for the Boot Image package, the Operating System and something else - but nothing for my VNC package.

Does anyone have any working examples of integrating VNC into OSD at the first step, with SCCM 2012 R2?
