You can link a list to Access or Excel, and copy/paste your data. Hth,Jan

Hi Jan, how do I link the list to Excel? I tried create custom list with Import Spreadsheet but this form does not have the email notification feature. What I want to achieve is to migrate current Change Request form to a Lists form where it has the email notification feature. Thanks, Pris

You didn't specify the email thing in the first post ... Can you explain a little bit more what the "current Change Request form" is, before we can give you some advice?

Apologies. Following is what I want to achieve. The current change request form created fromthe Tasks template,do not have the email notification feature. Hence, we would like tomigrate the cr data to a new form (i.e.Issues template), which has the email notification feature.I tried creating new custom list using spreadsheet but the form also donot have the email notification feature. What else can I try?

The email notification is only available if you use the Task list template as a base.

This is 15 months old. You'd be better off posting a new thread with a new Title. Hi All, We have developed a tool that might help in this situation. Its currently in a testing beta phase. Its called Magic - an Import Wizard for SharePoint and can be downloaded here: http://www.rddevsolutions.com It will allow you to import data from one SharePoint list into another. It will only import the actual list data though - no list features or meta data. Hopefully it will help.
