How to get reporting services to recognise the logged on user to the browser instead of the PC
We are running reports on a sharepoint site using windows authentication. If we change the sign in to a diiferent user in sharepoint we would like the report to run as this user. At the moment it will still pick up the credentials of the logged on user. Does anyone know of a way to get reporting services to pick up the credentials of the user logged onto the browser instead of the pc user?

Are you using Windows authentication on your sharepoint site? If you are, then you will get the windows user ... If you are using forms authentication on your sharepoint site, then you should get the credentials in the browser. Hope this helps, -LukaszGot a bug or feature request? It was recommended to us not to use forms authentication becuase it was not really reliable. I guess my question would be then: 'Are you saying that reporting services would use the browser credentials instead of the windows credentials if we set RS up to run in forms authentication mode?' Thanks in advance. Clare
