How to format the data in the Matrix
Good Day, i am using Matrix control in the ssrs 2008 r2. My data is like as showed in the below.... BlockDesc KWHSUMBlock1 KWHSUMBlock2 KWHSUMBlock3 KWHSUMBlock4 ________________________________________________________________ Block1 2031290 0 0 0 Block2 3109700 10413340 0 0 Block3 2856850 17141100 6777033 0 Block4 4796000 28776000 23980000 99942200 Then, i need the data in this format, that i showed in the below. BlockDesc KWHSUMBlock1 KWHSUMBlock2 KWHSUMBlock3 KWHSUMBlock4 __________________________________________________________________ Block1 0 0 0 99942200 Block2 0 0 6777033 23980000 Block3 0 10413340 17141100 28776000 Block4 2031290 3109700 2856850 4796000 Please help me, thanks in advance. Hello Dasari, I designed Matrix control report like as showned in the below. BlockDesc KWHSUMBlock1 KWHSUMBlock2 KWHSUMBlock3 KWHSUMBlock4 _________________________________________________________________________ Block1 2031290 0 0 0 Block2 3109700 10413340 0 0 Block3 2856850 17141100 6777033 0 Block4 4796000 28776000 23980000 99942200 But, my manager asked me to design in the Matrix Control ( i mean Matrix) like as shown in the below BlockDesc KWHSUMBlock1 KWHSUMBlock2 KWHSUMBlock3 KWHSUMBlock4 ______________________________________________________________________________ Block1 0 0 0 99942200 Block2 0 0 6777033 23980000 Block3 0 10413340 17141100 28776000 Block4 2031290 3109700 2856850 4796000 Kindly let me know if you still need any explanation. Hi RP, From your description, I still confuse with the expected result. For example, in your current data arrangement, the “2031290” number is decided by Block1 and KWHSUMBlock1. However, in the expected data arrangement, it is decided by Block4 and KWHSUMBlock1. Could you please post your dataset structure with sample data, and also post the expected result based on the data in dataset? Then, I will try to assist you achieve the requirement. Thanks, Bin Long
