I dont understand what exactly you mean. If you want the total count/number of rows in a dataset, use CountRows("Dataset1"). If you want to get the row number of each row in the dataset (in a list or a table), then use RowNumber("Dataset1") Shyam

Does CountRows("Dataset1") and RowNumber("Dataset1") for the row number of each row in the dataset (in a list or a table) work the same in SSRS 2008 R2? In SSRS 2008 R2, i want to find out the row count at the datasource, table, list, and/or page. Is this possible?
