How to find out user has access to how many sites?
Hello, is there a way to find out how many sites and what sites does the an individual has access rights to? Example - Jane has access to site1, site 5, site6, site9. How can I find out she has access to these site without going to the individual site and check Site Permissions? Is there a query that can be used for an end-user? Thank you in advance.

I was able to do this using a dataview web part based on the information from this blog: http://mikesnotebook.wordpress.com/2009/06/26/create-a-directory-of-sharepoint-sites-that-a-user-has-access-to/ Hope this helps!

I wrote an app that does that. It's free and runs via Web Services, so you can run it on your desktop to check user access. SharePoint User Auditor http://www.thesug.org/Blogs/lsuslinky/SUA
