Hi,

i have the following requirement:

I need want to show on users mysite additional information like

- skills
- projects
- customers

I thought about the following things:

- extending the user profile
- adding new lists and webparts for this purpose
- create a dedicated sitecollection for this information as a standalone application and view the users skills etc. via custom webparts on mysite

1.) I think that the user profile is not a good place for relational data and fields with multiple items (e.g. skills). Right?

2.) By extending the mysite i didnt know if it is possible to add new lists to the mysite which are available for all users. My question:

Is it possible to create lists which reside on the mysite and are available for all mysites? Where to store these lists?

3.) The way through a dedicated sitecollection and a custom webparts which will be placed on the mysite would be possible but i dont know if this a good way to go.

Could you please give me some hints or best pratice which way would be the best?
