Monitor Name: Logical Disk fragmentation Level Recovery Task :Logical Disk Defragmentation I have enabled the default recovery task and enable it using edit and then override option but still "Run recovery automatically" is set to "NO". due to which recovery task did not ran automatically. as this is sealed hence "run recovery automatically" option is grayed out. Alternatively we can add the recovery task and run a defrag command but I would like to use the default recovery task. So my question is how to enable the default recovery task.

The override will not show in the rule config. However if you check the override the effective "enabled" setting will show true... So what makes you think the recovery task didnt run automatic?Rob Korving http://jama00.wordpress.com/

Yes. When I checked the details in health explorer, I could see that recovery task ran properly. Is there a way to generate an alert when recovery task fails.
