Use the URL as your link text so we see at once that this is a MS link.

Thanks Aravind for your reply. Also I would like to add one more point here is that as per my requirement when end user upload documents in document library, the actual file should go to Separate data server and SQL server should keep only its path in content DB. How can I achieve this. How can I configure SQL with separate Data server?

As per my view it is not possible out of box. you need to write a custom Logic in webpart page/Application Page and upolad the files on Seperate DB and Path will be saved in List. It needs to write custom logic.Jayant Sharma

I consider you need to store huge documents in SharePoint and dont want to bloat the content databases. In MOSS 2007 you can implement External Blob Storage in your farm to store these huge documents in a File store. To extend this functionality as per your need you may need to extend ISPExternalBlobProvider. As SharePoint 2010 works with Sql Server 2008, it can leverage the FileStream and Remote Blob storage abilities. You can also try DocAve Extender a free tool from AvePoint which uses the same EBS/RBS interface to offload the files from Sql content databasesAravind http://aravindrises.blogspot.com

Thanks Arvind for your reply. I am totally agreed with your solution approach. YOu suggested me some SHarepoint planning tool for capacity but it can be used only for WSS 3.0 and MOSS2007. Can you please provide me some similar type of SharePoint Capacity Planning Tool for SharePoint Foundation 2010 with SQL Server 2008 on WIndows Server 2008? Thanks in advance.
