How to deploy group of application as a single task

Hi,

 please help me to make deployment of group application to a colletion with single task.

i.e need to install Adobe reader,flash player,office etc as single deployment.

any help would be really appreciated.

If it all has to be part of one deployment you could use a task sequence.

Hi,

i'm having some machines which is already installed windows,need to install some general apps,as i'm beginner to sccm i was searching,now i find out the option to use task sequence,tested and working fine.

There is no conflict. The link you mentioned says: "Microsoft System Center 2012 R2 Configuration Manager supports deploying applications as part of the Windows 8.1 deployment process. In this section, you create an application in System Center 2012 R2 Configuration Manager that you later configure the task sequence to use." So that's a task sequence used for OSD. It does not talk about using a non-OSD task sequence.

Cheers Torsten. I take it there isn't a MS page stating application only TS is not supported out there anywhere?

I have not seen such a statement so far in the docs (they usually say that it's only supported if it's documented/tested and I haven't seen the opposite: using TSes for deploying applications only is supported). 
Not supported does not automatically mean "does not work" though.
