How to convert evaluation edition of SCCM 2007 SP2 to non-evaluation?
Dear all,
I've implemented SCCM 2007 SP2 with R3 in a testing environment for customer. It was done using evaluation media from Microsoft. How do we convert this evalution edition into non-eval full version? I've been provided with non-eval media from customer's Microsoft
channel. Any step by step instructions, web links about this topic would be helpful.
Thanks.
Regards,
Shahzad.

Just run an in-place install/upgrade from the licensed media. Not much to it.Jason | http://blog.configmgrftw.com | Twitter @JasonSandys

Hi Jason,
Thanks for the answer. I started the setup and it did mention an upgrade option, went through all steps before it reaches "Setting Summary"...one step before setup starts making change. A message poped up saying "Configuration Manager database is larger
than 3.0 GB do you wish to continue with upgrade?" I click "Yes" but it did not proceed to show setup progress. I waited considerably long time to see if setup changes state but nothing happened.
SCCM 2007 site database is hosted on SQL Server 2005 x64 on a remote Srever 2008 R2 x64 box.
Any idea how could I make setup proceed with upgrade?
I stopped all services prior to starting setup.
ConfigMgrSetup.log showed following entires:
<05-02-2012 09:49:08> Running test query.
<05-02-2012 09:49:08> Sql version is 9.0, 9.00.5259.00.
