How to consume WCF multiple request xml into SSRS?
Hi All, I wanted to use following WCF test client request into my SSRS 2008 R2 report. Here, I am getting GetSection_ARequest and inside it another ExternalDataRequest request into the WCF test client, but I don't know how to consume the same request into the SSRS? Request <s:Envelope xmlns:s=""> <s:Header> <Action s:mustUnderstand="1" xmlns="">urn:GF.Tasks.ED.ExternalDataService.GetSection_A</Action> </s:Header> <s:Body> <GetSection_ARequest xmlns="urn:GF.Tasks.ED"> <ExternalDataRequest xmlns:i="" xmlns="urn:GF.Tasks.P2R"> <GrantNumber>BUR-708-G07-M</GrantNumber> </ExternalDataRequest> </GetSection_ARequest> </s:Body> </s:Envelope> XML DP Query in SSRS <Query> <SoapAction>urn:GF.Tasks.ED.ExternalDataService.GetSection_A</SoapAction> <Method Namespace="urn:GF.Tasks.ED" Name="GetSection_ARequest" /> <ElementPath IgnoreNamespaces="true"> GetSection_AResponse{}/SectionDetails_A{ SectionA1{Applicant}, SectionA3_1{IndicatoRating} } </ElementPath> </Query> Thanks for your help. Regards, Chirag

Hi Chirag, The query you used looks fine. Did you get any error message? If so, could you please post it. Anyway, below is a good article describes how to consume data from WCF in SQL Server Reporting Services: Thanks, Jin ChenJin Chen - MSFT
