Thanks Vyas for the suggestion. But this is not what i am looking. I have a task list and it has a column called Due Date. So when your Due date is nearer then the row changes to color say orange and when the Due date is passed then it channges to Red. So it is done dynamically comparing the today's date to Due Date. Does anyone have accomplished this kind of solution...... kukdai

Hi Kukdai, Lets have a look at your request, you´re basically after two things that aren´t easily achievee with an out of the box list or calendar, namely: Adding dynamic colours to a calendar or list Adding some logic to these lists, which is time sensitive. I´ve done something similar with a calculated column and DateDiff varieties, so it is possible, my version was pulling information directly from SQL though, and not using innate SharePoint data. Christophe, at PathtoSharePoint.com has done some interesting things with calendars and calculated columns, which I think will be the way for you to go in achieving this. Please take a look at this for inspiration http://blog.pathtosharepoint.com/2010/04/06/tutorial-add-color-coding-to-your-sharepoint-2007-calendar-in-15-minutes/ If I have any time in the weekend for a solution, I´ll see what I can whistle up.http://www.final-exodus.net

Use DataViewWebPart and edit this list in the SharePoint designer, manipulate the XSLT to render the way you want the formatting--Cheers
