How to change LOGON AS account for SQL Server Reporting Services in SQLServer 2008?
Hi There, I want to change the service logon account for my SQL Server Reporting Services from LOCALSYSTEM to a local user account or domain user account. From the SQLServer Configuration Manager, I right click ont he report services to get to its properties, but it doesn't have the "Logon As" properties to allow me to specify a user account/password (unlike the SQL Server services). It has the statement "Account settings and other configuration settings are managed using the Reporting Configuration Manager'. Can someone pls point me to the right direction on how to change the LOGON service account for Reporting Services?? Thanks & regards, Irene

Hi, For reporting servive this needs to be done from "Reporting Services configuration manager". I can be acessed from start menu-> Sql 2008 R2-> Configuration Tools.. In that, you can go to service account page for changing service level account..- Chintak (My Blog)
