How to bind the JSON data returning from a method to the Search results Webpart?

Hi,

I have a JSOM method to fetch certain data in JSON format from the external URL. I want bind this data with the Search Results Webpart.

So is it possible OOB?

If no,Can we achieve this with the Display Templates?

Please let me know the approach to achieve the same.

Any links or helpful code will be appreciated.
