How to add priority and severity of an alert in the subject of the email notification in SCOM R2
We have a SCOM R2 environement and one fo our application team wants few alerts to be send to their mail boxes. So we created notification channel, subscribers and subscriptions ,we also got the alert notified to their mail box.But they wanted to have the
priority and the severity of the alert in the email subject.
We selected the specific severity and priority option under subscription still we dont get them in the email subject.
I would appreciate if someone help me in fixing this task.

Hey Raj,
best option would be to create 2 channels one for the WARNING and one for CRITICAL and define the format in the email subject line
Critical Alert, $Data/Context/DataItem/AlertName$ for $Data/Context/DataItem/ManagedEntityPath$: $Data/Context/DataItem/ResolutionStateName$
Warning Alert, $Data/Context/DataItem/AlertName$ for $Data/Context/DataItem/ManagedEntityPath$: $Data/Context/DataItem/ResolutionStateName$
hope this helps.
cheers.

Hey Vrkumar01,
Thank you for your valuable reply.I tried adding the below int he email subject
Alert: $Data/Context/DataItem/AlertName$ Priority: $Data/Context/DataItem/Priority$ Severity: $Data/Context/DataItem/Severity$ Resolution state: $Data/Context/DataItem/ResolutionStateName$
