How to Increase SharePoint upload size limit from 2 GB?

I have a requirement to upload files of size more than 2 GB in SharePoint 2010 and 2013m and the size limit is 2 GB in SharePoint.

Please guide me how to increase the size limit.

Max upload size is a hard limit dictated by SQL blob size (2 GB for both SP2010 and SP2013). Also uploading large files to SharePoint is usually sign of a bad design and in general a bad idea!

Hi

default is 50 Mb and max is  2GB,If you want to upload you have to increase the size in application setting as well as in IIS.

You can not increase file size beyond 2 GB. It is a limit by design.

Hi Prakash,There are two ways we can do that.one is changing the value in CA and other is changing the value in web.config.Please check the links below that explains and shows exactly how to do that.
