How to Hide Sub Report Parameters
Hi I have created two reports: 1st Report will display HeadOffice details(It has 3 parameters i.e. FromDate ,ToDate and Entity) 2nd Report will display Store details (It has 3 parameters i.e. HeadOffice ,FromDate and ToDate ) 2nd Report has Linked in 1st Report. When i execute the 1st report ,it will display all HeadOffices and When i select any HeadOffice it will display all store details of selected HeadOffice. My Requirement: When i click on Link in MainReport ,I want to hide FromDate and ToDate parameters of 2nd report(I want only HeadOffice parameter to show). Is this possible? Thanks in advance, Visu

Hi Visu, Based on your description, it seems that you create a drillthrough action in the first report. If so, we can pass the parameter values to the second report by the first report. Please refer to the following steps. 1. In Design view of the first report, right-click the text box which you add a link and then click Properties. 2. Go to Action pane, in Use these parameters to run the report section, click Add. Add the report parameters (FormDate and ToDate) in Name text box, and select the value to pass to the parameter in the second report. 3. In the second report, specify the parameter visibility of parameter FormDate and parameter ToDate to Hidden. When preview the report and click the link in the first report and go to the second report, only the third parameter is visibility.
