It is like an old vampire movie. I can't seem to kill SSRS. I wanted to install SQL Server on a different server so I could experiment with upgrading to 2008. Naturally I had difficulty with SSRS....now I remember it took nearly a month to install it a few years ago when I first installed SQL 2005....thanks Microsoft, for not fixing that. Anyway, I tried to uninstall/reinstall SQL Server (5 times) and every time I got the same problems configuring SSRS. This last time I uninstalled SQL Server I looked in my Serices window on Services Manager and Reporting Services is STILL THERE as a service!?!??!?!? How do you kill this thing? I can't uninstall SQL Server because I ALREADY DID! (SQL 2005, by the way.)
