How do you stop a Managed Content Deployment Job
I have a scheduled Deployment which has been running for 6 hours. The normal duration is around 15 minutes. Status is:'Running' I can find no options to stop it nor can I find anything on the web, except doing a net stop/start of Windows SharePoint Services Timer. I tried this and it made no difference at all.

Hi Kakapo, Yes, there seems no way to stop / cancel a content deployment job through the status page. However, Stefan Goßner give the method to modify the job configuration to stop the stuck timer jobs in his blog: Please refer to the blog post for detailed steps. http://blogs.technet.com/b/stefan_gossner/archive/2010/04/08/content-deployment-the-complete-guide-part-9-timerjobs.aspx Hope the information can be helpful.
