Hi, I'm working with Visual Studio 2008 Team System and SQL Server 2008. I have some RDLC files used to generate reports and the reports render correctly. Currently though only Excel and PDF export formats are available. Can anyone tell me what I need to do to enable CSV exports ? The processing mode I am using is Local as opposed to remote i.e. Client side. Many Thanks

Hi, Generally, when using the ReportViewer 2008 to display local report, it can only export to report to Excel and PDF, and one more format Word is supported in ReportViewer 2010. However, more export options are provided by then Report Server when the ReportViewer refers to a server report. Since this is a product limitation of ReportViewer, if export local report to CSV is necessary for you, please submit a wish at http://connect.microsoft.com/VisualStudio. If the service requests frequency, we may include it in the next release.
